Canton Fish Bar's Story
Canton Fish Bar in Cardiff serves traditional fish and chips using the finest and freshest ingredients, obtained locally where possible.
Independent and family run, we aim to serve you fresh and tasty food made to order every time you visit.

About us
About us
We use Frymax pure vegetable oil for frying our fish and chips. Frymax is less than 1% trans fat, contains no additives, is a non-hydrogenated oil, non-GM and does not contain any allergens.
Fish
We use wild fresh-frozen at sea Atlantic Cod, which is delicious, with its firm white flakes. Our Cod comes from sustainable sources and is MSC-certified.
POTATOES
We use the best quality potatoes (Maris Piper) carefully selected year round and taste each batch to help ensure we get the best possible potatoes for our chips and potato fritters.
